We previously shared a recipe for healthy Snickers and now we are into healthy snacks, so here’s another one. Have you ever heard of energy balls? These balls are often made from dried fruits and nuts, and they give you a boost when needed. Very easy and fun to make and very tasty!
INGREDIENTS
200 grams of pitted dates
170 grams of mixed nuts
1 tbsp chia seed
50 ml coconut oil
2 tbsp raw cocoa powder
PREPERATION
Soak the dates in water for at least 15 minutes. Put the rest of the ingredients in a blender of food processor until finely ground. Then add the dates and mix again.
Put the mixture in a bowl and let it rest for 10 minutes. Then make small balls with your hands. Depending on the size you can make 15-20 balls. Place them in the fridge for at least an hour before you eat them.
Tip: you can roll the balls in grated coconut, cinnamon or cocoa powder or crushed nuts for the taste and look.
