Who says there can't be snacks in a healthy and sporty lifestyle? Treat yourself to these healthy protein chocolate balls made from only five ingredients and with a lot of protein!
1 can of black beans
2 scoops of Beyuna protein
1 tbsp cocoa powder
50 gr dark chocolate (at least 70%)
75 ml of water
optional: 2 tbsp sweetener as desired
Rinse and drain the beans before putting them in the blender and blending until you get a smooth, hummus-like mixture.
Add the protein and cocoa powder, the water and blend until you have a smooth "dough". You can add more water if needed. Add more cocoa if you like a chocolate flavor and add a sweetener of your choice, such as agave syrup, honey or maple syrup.
Finely chop the dark chocolate and stir into the mixture. Roll balls and put them in the freezer for at least an hour. Then keep them in the fridge.
Optional: roll the balls in cocoa powder or melted dark chocolate and place in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
