Homemade granola

Granola, it's delicious! Over a yogurt of your choice or over an acaï bowl. Or just like that. mmm. Unfortunately, supermarket granolas contain a lot of added sugars, so what do you do? You make it yourself. Usually granola is toasted with oil and honey, but this recipe doesn't contain these ingredients, so it's even healthier.

Ingredients

250 gr oatmeal

75 gr almonds

75 gr walnuts

30 gr sunflower seeds

30 gr pumpkin seeds

75 gr raisins

200 gr soft (medjoul) dates

100 ml tahini

3 tbsp water

1 tsp cinnamon

Pinch of salt

Preparation

Roughly chop the almonds and walnuts. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees.

Blend the dates, tahini and water in a food processor to a smooth paste. Combine all other ingredients in a bowl, then add the date paste and stir to combine. Use your hands for even distribution.

Spread the granola on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in the center of the oven for about 25 to 30 minutes. Toss the granola halfway through to prevent it from burning.

When the granola is golden brown, take it out of the oven and let it cool, after which you can store it in a preserving jar.
